Bell Visit Imperial War Museum

This May students from Bell Cambridge visited the world famous Imperial War Museum at Duxford - how lucky we are to have such an incredible museum just 15 minutes away from the school.

Students were able to walk through the same hangars and buildings as the pilots who served at RAF Duxford in World War 2, and see record breaking historic airplanes inside and out including Concorde, the famous Spitfire fighter plane, the Lancaster bomber, Vulcan bomber and many, many more!

All the lovely volunteers were helpful and informative, answering whatever questions our students asked with enthusiasm. We were even able to see some of the planes in flight out on the airfield.

Despite having little to no special knowledge of aviation, all the students enjoyed their day out and came away having learned a huge amount.
